ㄧ派自然 All Natural Vegetarian Restaurant 《素》

Sometimes, it is good not to eat meat in order to refresh our body. There are not many vegetarian restaurants especially with buffet in most of the places. This restaurant satisfies vegetarians’ stomachs with meat-like dishes. I even mistook some of the dishes for real meat.
為了清新ㄧ下我們的身體，偶爾不要吃肉是很好的。在大部分的地方，是沒有很多的素食餐廳，尤其是有自助餐的。這間餐廳有ㄧ些很像肉類的餐點，可以滿足素食者的胃，我甚至把他們誤以為真的葷食。


I like their garden very much, and they have live shows sometimes. It is a joy of life to sit there, have some BBQ, and enjoy the show in summer evening.
我很喜歡他們的庭院，他們偶爾也有現場表演。在夏天的晚上，坐在外面、享受燒烤、以及欣賞表演，是人生的一大享受。

扮家家酒煮義 Pasta Chacha 《葷素》

When I first came to this restaurant, it seemed like I walked into a luxurious palace. The first word came out from my mouth was “wow…!” It just like a little girl’s dream of becoming a princess came true. The lights, the chairs, and even the glasses made me so excited. And I couldn’t stop taking pictures.
當我第一次來這間餐廳時，似乎像是走進一個奢華的宮殿，從我嘴巴冒出的第一個字就是「哇…!」 就像一個小女孩想變成公主的夢想成真。他們的燈、椅子、甚至是杯子都讓我興奮不己，也讓我拿起相機停不下來。

瑪莎羅芙Masa Loft 《葷素》

What do you think about this place? A library, a bookstore, or someone else’s studio? In fact, it is a distinctive second-hand book café. One of the owners is my older schoolmate in high school. And, because of a book, I got one more friend (his sister) who loves books as much as I do. You could bring books that you do not read very often to exchange coffee or food there. The discount depends on the kind of the book and how you preserve it. For me, it is the place where books belong because good books deserve many good readers.
你覺得這個地方如何? 是ㄧ間圖書館、書店、或是某個人的工作室呢? 其實，它是ㄧ間獨特的二手書咖啡店，其中ㄧ位老闆是高中的學長。而且，因為ㄧ本書，我也多了ㄧ個和我一樣喜歡書的朋友(他的姊姊)。你可以帶你不常看的書去哪裡交換咖啡或是食物，折扣是依照書的種類和保存度來看。對我來說， 這個地方才是書本應該歸屬的地方，因為好書值得擁有許多好讀者

窄門 Narrow Door Café

Nine years ago, one of my friends took me to this restaurant. I was so impressed because the door was so narrow that I had to turn my body to pass it. It’s quite interesting for me to see people’s reaction when they first go to “Narrow Door.” So I like to take friends there sometimes. Also, it seems to be another tour sight across from the Confucious Temple because of its foor.

九年前，一個朋友帶我到這間餐廳，我印象很深刻，因為他們家的門真的窄到我必須側身才能通過。對我來說，看第一次去”窄門“的人的反應是很有趣的一件事，所以有時我會帶朋友去。而且，因為它的門，這間餐廳似乎也變成了孔廟對面的另一個觀光景點



I like to sit by the windows. It’s really a good corner to have tea time with friends or even sit there alone as a writer.
我喜歡坐在這個窗邊，這真的是個好角落可以跟朋友喝下午茶，甚至像個作家獨自坐在那兒

天使傳說 Angel Legend

I always notice the pretty and elegant decorations when I go to a restaurant. They are important elements of the atmosphere. Sometimes, I find something I like so much that I would like to buy it. That is why I like this kind of shop. Most of decorations and furniture are quite expensive, so I was so excited when I saw the stuff in this shop is on sale.
每當我到一家餐廳的時候，我總是會注意到一些精緻優美的傢飾品，因為它們是構成氣氛很重要的元素。有時候還會看到喜歡的很想買回家，這就是為什麼我喜歡逛這種傢飾店。但是大部份這種的裝飾品還有傢俱都滿貴的，所以當我看到這間的東西在特價時，我真的很興奮

I like the shelf on the bottom especially the decorations on it. Also, the clock on the wall is a really good design, and it also has the name of the designer on it. 我很喜歡下面的櫃子，尤其是上面的裝飾品，另外，牆上的時鐘真的很有設計感，上面還有設計師的名字喔

The crystal lamps are really beautiful. They are the art of light.
水晶燈真的很美，它們是光的藝術品


I bought some inexpensive stuff from a clerk, Miss Yang, who is nice and gave me a good bargain. You can go and have a look if you also need some of them.
我跟一位店員(楊小姐)買了ㄧ些物美價廉的東西，她人很好也給我很好的價錢，如果你剛好也需要買這類的東西可以去看看

時光 About Time《葷素》

This restaurant always distracted me when I passed it by because of the cute bear at the door. The other week when I went there, the tables were all booked. So, this time I remember to make a reservation in advance. And, it really didn’t disappoint me.
每次當我經過這間餐廳時，總會因為門口那隻可愛的熊而分心。前幾個禮拜有次要進去卻都客滿了，所以這次我記得事先預約，果真沒有讓我失望


It is a restaurant where you can see cute bears surrounded. For a girl, it’s really warm and sweet.
這是ㄧ間到處都可以看到熊熊的餐廳，對一個女生來說，真的感覺很溫暖也很甜蜜。

蕈菇養生鍋 Mushroom Hot Pot
They have many kinds of hot pots and dishes. I seldom see mushroom hot pot in other restaurant, so I ordered it and the mushrooms are very fresh.
他們有很多種的火鍋和排餐，我在其他餐廳很少看到菇類火鍋，所以點了這道，香菇很新鮮喔

I like the craft for the egg.
我喜歡這個裝蛋的手藝品，很精緻

蕃茄檸檬蜜 Tomato Juice with Lemon and Honey
It tasted good and the glass interested me.
還不錯喝，而且杯子很有趣

茶凍 Tea Jelly
It is made of black tea, and it’s soft and delicious.
紅茶口味，很軟很爽口

The bears on the shelf are not for sale, but you can exchange them with the records you had meals there. NT$150 for one point; 20 points for a couple of little bears.It is successful marketing because it really encourages customers (I would like to go there with friends more often).
架子上的熊熊是不賣的，但是可以用消費的點數來換。150元ㄧ點，20點可以換一對小熊。這算是很成功的行銷方式，因為有鼓勵消費者的效果 (連我都想常帶朋友去了)

Even when you were born in the month, they would give you a bear for free (definitely, I will go when my birthday come).
甚至當月壽星還會送你熊熊喔 (下次生日我一定要去)

It is the bear that distracted me every time, and I want to take it home with me.
這就是每次都讓我分心的那隻熊熊，真想把它帶回家

製作饅頭 Making Steamed Buns

One of my friends came over my place and taught me how to make steamed buns last week. I was so excited about making my first steamed buns.
上星期我的ㄧ個朋友過來我家敎我如何做饅頭，我可是很興奮要做出我生平的第一個饅頭喔

Ingredients 材料:

200g of water / 200公克的水
1 tea spoon of yeast / ㄧ茶匙的酵母
30g of granulated sugar / 30公克的砂糖
500g of plain flour / 500公克的中筋麵粉
100g of whole-wheat flour / 100公克的全麥粉



Step 1 / 步驟一
Pour 100g of water in the yeast (don’t use it until the yeast dissolved in the water). Pour 200g of water in the flour, whole-wheat flour and the sugar, then pour the yeast water.
把100克的水倒進酵母裡 (酵母在水裡溶解了才能使用)
把200克的水倒入麵粉、全麥粉、和糖裡，再把酵母水倒進去

Step2 / 步驟二
And start to knead it into mixture flour.Remember not to stop until it is with bounce.
接著開始把全部揉成麵糰，記得要揉到有彈性為止

Step3 / 步驟三
Roll the pastry into a rectangle.
把麵糰桿成長方形

Step4 / 步驟四
Spread some raisin and medlar on it (you could also put some grain you like).
鋪上一些葡萄乾和枸杞 (你也可以放你喜歡的穀類)

Step5 / 步驟五
Roll it up.
把它捲起來

Step6 / 步驟六
Cut it into the size you like, and wait for about 30 mins until it is leavened.
切成你喜歡的大小，然後等它發酵約30分鐘

Step7/ 步驟七
Steam them in a pan. 在鍋子蒸ㄧ蒸


It’s done! They look and taste delicious. Each one only cost NT$1.5.
I like to make things like this with friends and family. It makes you spend good time together and also saves you money. It’s great, isn’t it?
完成了！不但看起來好吃，嚐起來也好吃，一個成本才1.5元台幣。我喜歡和朋友還有家人一起動手做這類的東西，不但可以增進感情，還省了荷包，很讚，不是嗎?
